Foreign women for Marriage? Brazil? Colombia? (serious comments only please)?
OK…
So here’s the story. I’m 28 yrs old, moderately successful (own a restaurant), and can’t get women to realize I’m a good guy. I’m not a player, nor do I pretend to be. I’m a well balanced, well experienced man looking to find a woman to have a relationship that will turn into a marriage with children. I don’t advertise myself, and women don’t see me for who I am, so its ships passing each other in the night.
After having dated a Ukrainian woman, that was great but didn’t work out for different reasons, I tried a Russian. It isn’t working with her either. So I decided to check out Coloumbia and Brazil. But I don’t know anything about the culture or women.
Does anyone have any knowledge (except for mardi gras) about Coloumbian and Brazilian women? What’s the general values? I’m not a big party guy, home of a stay at home, what are they like?
Any help from men already in the this situation or any sociologists/psychologists that know would be appreciated.

Just out of curiousity, is there any reason that it has to be a girl from another country?
I dated a brazilian girl once. It wasnt a mail order or internet order bride type of thing. She was an architect that had her visa to work here. I met her at a professional event.
She was exactly the same as any other girl I meet and date. Other then she knew about 10 languages. Its going to be difficult for anybody to answer your question. If you are looking to meet girls from outside of the US (Im assuming you are in the US) then the girls you meet will be totally different then the girls I have met that were foriegn.
Ive dated French Girls, Brazilian, A girl from Switzerland etc. But they didnt need me to get a green card. They all made plenty.
If you are looking for a girl that needs you just so she can come to the US, expect that. She will most likely be poor, of low education, just trying to get out of the country. She will love you because you are a US citizen not because of you. Some marry for money, some marry for love, she marries because of where you were born.
Im sure she will be faithful, but you have to realize when you are walking down the street or in the store. Every guy you pass just keep telling yourself. She would take him, or him, or him, or him, or him, or him, or him, or him. I was just the first person to ask.
If you really want to marry a brazilian or a columbian girl, learn their language and move to their country. They girl that wants you to stay in their country is marrying you for you. Im not saying its right or wrong. But from the sound of your post it sounds like you are just looking for girls that have only one requirement. That you are American.
Go to your local college. Teach a learning English as a second language class. Good hell if you want to marry a russian girl (learn russian), if you want a french girl (learn french) if you what a brazilian (learn portuguese). If you just want to get a maid and a baby factory. There are a million girls that will take you up on your offer so they can move to america.
One word of advice. Dont worry about learning their culture or what they like. Because they sure as hell dont care about you or yours.

Is very painful to read the first answer. I can’t believe that this guy thinks all latinas dream about marrying an american dude to get the green card. Of course some girls would some others don’t. But most of us have grown with a lot of values. Most of the girls in here dream on having a succesful career and marry before they’re 30 and of course have kids. Infidelity is unforgivable in our culture and we tend to be warmer that women in any other culture. Most of us love the idea of having a functional family. Most of us Honor our husbands. We just search for true love like all the women in the universe!
