I’m a Chinese girl in China dating a foreigner?
rida asked:

he says he wants a good women for life and treats me very good we talk about maybe our future together. He is learning Chinese just to respect me for I speak English, he is also very respectful to my feelings and culture. we are both young he is 30 I am 24. I think I am very beautiful Chinese woman and he is handsome for woman look at him all the time but he is only interested in me when we are out and pays no attention to the other women
I have been told not to trust him because lots of foreigners come here and use women. I need help to know what is the best thing to do?? I really would like to be with him forever. I am a simple girl that just needs a good man in my life. Please let me know ways to tell if I will be in his life or any advice would be great

ive been in a similar situation but sadly i really dont know what i should tell you other than to just look out for yourself. dont get caught up in something that is all a fake. and if you do…. dont dewl on it becuase you may loose your chance at a real love.
i wish you the best.

Sounds like you are very lucky to have found a really great guy. He is actually learning some Chinese, right? Not just telling you he is? If you think he is good, then it is most likely that he is.
Please don’t put all foreigners into the same basket, as it sounds like some people you have talked to are. Most of us are kind, decent human beings. The one problem you may have is if his visa runs out and he has to leave the country. If he doesn’t want you to leave the country with him, look out.
How are your parents about it? I know a lot of Chinese people in my country have problems with their parents when dating a non-Chinese person. My friend, whose family has been out of China for at least 3 generations had terrible problems at the age of about 25 (having left home) when she was dating a Caucasian man. Her mother (who I have met and seems a very nice person) completely refused to meet her boyfriend, and both her parents were very unhappy about it. They asked her why she couldn’t date a nice Chinese boy, seemed to expect it even.
However, my sister-in-law is Chinese Indonesian and I have not heard that she had any problems dating and moving in with my brother who is Caucasian.
All the best for your future together.
